The blog is getting a face lift in honor of our surprising and great news. We are all very exited because Charlie will be getting a baby sister in early December. I am due December 4th and everything is going great so far. We are thinking of naming the baby Sophie.
Got to go, lots of shopping to do!

Cowboy Charlie

Charlie had his first horse ride at the Greer/Packer/Graviss family reunion on grandma Dieruf's farm. I was a little bit leery, until I saw the horse. He couldn't have weighed more than 150 lbs and didn't look at all intimidating.

Charlie really enjoyed his ride and all of the other activities on the farm. We flew kites, took many golf cart rides, played volleyball, golfed, went swimming and had a great day.

Charlie took a spill while chasing after me trying to get the kite up in the air. He scratched his nose and was bleeding, but got right up and yelled at me because I let the kite go, so I could tend to him. Such a boy!

His great (in all senses of the word) grandmother took him for a ride in grandpa's special golf cart. They took a tour of the garden, golf course and rest of the farm while mom took a much needed rest.

Gone Fishin
Last weekend we went down to Pine Knot, KY (Grandma Carla's home town) for Charlie's first fishing trip. He had so much fun and caught a fish immediately with his new fishing pole. It was crazy, as soon his his pole hit the water (with a hot dog on it, we couldn't find any worms - although we didn't look too hard :) a fish bit. We barely had time to get the cameras ready. From then on, daddy and grandpa were on fire. We caught a total of 8 fish and promptly put them back into their natural habitat.
After fishing (and picking off ticks!) we stopped at Cumberland Falls on the way home. It was so pretty - we'll have to go back there to hike when Charlie gets a little bit older.
After the long day, the boys were tuckered out.
