Trick or Treat 2008

We baked some cookies earlier in the week to raise the boys tolerance to sugar.

The pirate and cowboy.

Big Charlie refused to dress up; but I decided to be a pleasantly plump pregnant lady this year :).

Charlie covered lots of ground this year. We probably hit about 25 houses.

A few houses in Annie's neighborhood really went all out. This one had a blow up haunted house that Charlie run through about 30 times, literally. Great idea!
The Lukster and Peepaw passed out candy this year. Peepaw did his own presidential poll and asked all of the kids if they were for McCain or Obama. The McCain kids got three pieces of candy and Obama supporters only got one. I am sure that the kids (and some adults, which is so weird) didn't expect to have to share their political views while trick-or-treating.

Ha Ha - too bad those kids your dad interviewed weren't able to vote, our side could have used them! Max has started saying "Obama" all excitedly everytime he sees him on the news...We really wish he'd stop. We certainly didn't teach him that and it's freaking us out a litte!
